An author waiting for Irma

The biggest thing you realize - as you await a storm the size of hurricane Irma and that is, try as you might, other forces are in control of your direct future, if you are in the storm's path. So, in the previous days, people have been calm. I bought a sizable stash of water a couple of weeks ago, as I always to during this time of the year. You see, this is the peak of the hurricane season and I buy a big supply of water every summer at that time. So, I just hope everyone stays safe and when the power goes out, the one thing you do know is people are preparing to restore it. Support family, support neighbors, and everyone be safe.
