Welcome to Mystery and Thriller Week

The website - Goodreads is honoring the mystery novel and thriller books, as this is Mystery and Thriller week. Like many of you, I started reading mysteries when I was a young student, a good diversion from all the heavy reading for classes. I developed a taste for how the story developed. At the tender age of twelve, I won a city-wide essay contest in the city of Chicago. I was hooked on writing. Pushed and encouraged by my eight-grade teacher, I went to enjoy a writing experience that continues today. In this week of celebration of the mystery and thriller novel, enjoy the many good works out there. Also, take in a renewed respect for how this books are put together.
