Up, up and look.
Okay, so this is my last blog post on Alaska. I promise. When you find a location so beautiful, one post doesn't quite do it. I'm talking about Skagway, Alaska, and the train ride from the town, up into the mountains, with a stop in Fraser, B.C. As you travel and look down from your train car, the views include: water falls, fed by snow melts deep in the mountain, tiny trees, made that way by nature to withstand the cold bitter winters, old telegraph poles with no wires. They were taken down after so many moose antlers got caught up in them. There is a tiny trail the entire way once used by the gold seekers in the late 1800's on their way to find a fortune. The views are incredible. If you ever get the chance...well, you know the rest.
