Sometimes, you just have to stand back in awe.

I finally made it to Alaska. My route was a cruise. Just returned. There are a few times when, even as a writer, you're lost for words on the beauty before you. This was one of those times. Alaska is pure nature. And when I say pure, I mean traveling up close to glaciers where there's no cars. No car smoke or anything in the air that comes to a pollutant. And the air itself is cooled by a glacier. Breathe in. Not bad. There were whales to see and where so many looked for gold. Natural beauty. Won't forget the place. Yes, I'm back to reality, but will always remember that train ride in Skagway.
