I've written before about starting a book, however, this month there is a special attention to writing a novel. For National Novel Writing Month, the goal is to write 50,000 words in one month. Quiet a feat, if you can do it. Kind of like writing 1,500 to 1,600 words a day. As for me, I have to admit, I could not do it. I'm not a speed writer. I'm just a writer. In order to do that, you'd have to completed the research for the book, mapped out the characters and know all your plot points in advance. It can be done. I like to take my time and let the writing dictate the trail. The main thought behind all of this is to start writing. Complete the project. And yes, it definitely can be done. Think about what you're going to say and go for it. Let me know how it all works out. I'd like to read it.
