After Irma: Moving forward

Hurricane Irma blew through Florida and especially the Florida Keys. I did just fine, however, one place I enjoy immensely, the Florida Keys, took a beating. Mobile homes were flattened and boats were picked up and dropped elsewhere like toys. My thoughts are with the residents of the keys. I am hoping they can restore the beauty, the rich history, and the charm of the keys. As an author, I base my books on south Florida. I love the special atmosphere this place has. However, Florida has seen bad storms before, going back for decades. The one thing I know is that people will move forward and bounce back from this. The people are strong and storm, no matter the size will stop progress and getting back to the calm and absolute beauty of the place. Count on it.
